The full story
Where the restaurant stood
When I started with Nobles Restaurant in Riyadh, it was losing more than SAR 200,000 a month. The food and the service were good. The marketing did not bring a steady flow of customers, and the restaurant was weak online.
Riyadh’s restaurant market is crowded with established brands, and the money spent on marketing returned little. We set one target: monthly sales of SAR 1.2 million.
I have worked with Nobles for more than two years. The figures in this case cover six months of that work.
What we did, in order
1. A plan before any ad
I studied the competitors and the gaps in the market. Then I wrote a marketing and ad plan to bring people to the restaurant and to its pages online.
2. New photos and seasonal menus
My team reshot the dishes and built seasonal menus. We wrote the copy the way diners in Saudi Arabia talk.
3. Ads on Google, TikTok and Snapchat
I designed targeted campaigns on Google Ads, TikTok and Snapchat, and tracked ad spend against sales. These screenshots come from the ad accounts.
4. Food bloggers and influencers
We partnered with food bloggers and lifestyle influencers in Riyadh. They showed the dishes, the venue and the catering to their followers.
5. Email for events and catering
Email grew a second line of sales: events and catering for companies. We sent targeted offers to corporate clients, event planners and private hosts, and followed up with each one. Bookings rose for business events, weddings and private parties, but I have no figure for that.

6. WhatsApp orders linked to a CRM
We ran WhatsApp campaigns, then linked WhatsApp orders and reservations to a chatbot and a CRM. Replies got faster and repeat orders went up. I have no figure for either, so they are not in the list below.
The result
- Monthly sales: SAR 1.2 million, the target we set, where the restaurant had been losing money every month.
- ROAS 4.9X: SAR 4.9 in sales for every riyal spent on ads.
- Revenue impact: more than SAR 7 million in 6 months.
- Ad spend: SAR 150K.
- Influencers: 18 million views on TikTok, and sales up 65% after the campaigns.
What to take from it
Ads bring people to the door. The photos, the menu and the speed of the reply decide whether they order, so fix those before you raise the budget.
If your restaurant gets messages but not enough orders, send me your monthly sales and ad spend. I will tell you what I would fix first.
